The rain is coming down steady.
My computer is set up outside
beneath a tin veranda.
Distant cars on the wet road
sound a little like a river.
I close my eyes.
Of course there's the drum
drum of raindrops.
I sit here and type
not much.
That's okay.
This weather makes my
mind quite still
